Darin Gibby wanted his new site to work twofold, to promote himself as an author and patent attorney as well as highlight his new book. His new book was about patent models and inventing so he wanted the design to strongly emphasize this. The homepage uses vintage imagery and coloring paired with a modern design to achieve this look. The call-to-action buttons direct visitors’ attention to prominent pages on the site.
