Lindenhurst Park District’s goal is to create community through people, parks, and programs. Our designers weaved this ideology throughout the website. Green leaves that span across the boarder of the page provide a fresh, outdoor feeling that juxtaposes with in-depth information about programs and facilities. The website’s header initiates the perfect setting of a scenic, tranquil park environment by providing rotating images of park dwellers and a custom flash animation of the Lindenhurst logo. Our team also included an upcoming events calendar and photo gallery allowing the park district to display previous events and photos. Other website features include a local park directory and a newsroom module to keep the Lindenhurst community up to date with current park district events.
