Assisting Urban Youth Development
Inner-City Teaching Corps services children in the Chicagoland areas whose neighborhoods are lacking many vital social services. The website’s goal was to distribute program information and to recruit postgraduate students and aged professionals. Our designers began by developing a custom flash intro displaying information about the organization, mission, and accomplishments. Two separate navigational systems were established: one for information to aid the cause and the other for information on the organization. The homepage component provides ICTC with the ability to edit both ‘Leaders In Action’ and ‘What’s New’ without contacting our developers. Finally, we incorporated two static calls to action, donate and get involved, that provide each visitor with the quickest way to create a positive impact in a child’s life.
